Marilyn Leonard and "Kikuli", her imported Dutch Mare.  Marilyn and Kiki both came back from fairly serious injuries in 2001.  It was a devastating loss when Kiki  died of colic in Feb 06, our hearts all go out to Marilyn on her tremendous loss. 

Long time Silverleaf student Mary Winchell had a very successful competitive career with her purebred Arabian gelding Ambeholidn + (Buster).     At  the 2003 Sport Horse Nationals  they were Reserve Champion  at Amateur 1st LLl, Top 10 at Amateur 2nd LL  and  Champion in Amateur 1st and 2nd LL at Region 15 Arabian Dressage.     Buster is now being leased to junior riders to teach them all that he knows.  

Julie Shilling and "Ransom", Oceana Students.   Julie and Ransom have come a very long way developing skill and confidence in the year we've been working together.

Jessica McCarthy and her 4 year old Fresian gelding "Mickey" have had a tremendous 2009 season at Intro and are starting to score 60%s at Training level.. 

.Patti Farless and her 6 year old Holsteriner mare Siam.  Patti drives up from the Williamston NC area every week for her lessons.  Patti has has just purchased her Holsteiner mare Siam from Far-A-Field Farm and Patti Pieurcci. 

Gabrielle Fleming, DVM and her lovely 6 year old mare Rioja Reserva.  Rio came back from a couple of very serious injuries to successfully show 1st and 2nd LL in 2009

Janice Mumford and her Dutch Gelding  "King D'Azur".   Kingsley was GAIG Champion at 3rd LL, Reserve Champion at 4th LL and 2001 BLM Champion at 2nd LL with Jim Koford riding.  Janice is an "L" judge and a USDF Silver and Bronze Medalist.  In 2004 Janice successfully competed  Kingsley at Intermediare I, and in 2005 Danielle Rowland took over the reins and made the USDF Region 1 Young Rider team.   In 2006 Kingsley finished 2nd in the nation for Adult Amateurs at PSG. with his new owner.   

Janice Mumford and her 6 yr old Hannoverian Mare "Balihi" by Bourdeaux.  Now successfully competing at 2nd LL, Janice purchsed Brie as a 3 year old from Kathy Priest.

Juli Zobel and her National Show Horse Frank. Juli and Frank have had many successes on the arabian circuit in both hunter and Sport Horse under Saddle.   They recently started dressage training with Kathy.

Amanda is Danielle's cousin and long time student.   After starting 2009 strong at 2nd Level, sadly Frank lost his battle with a bad case of Founder this Oct.

Barbara McArthur and her 5 year old Oldenburg "Gunther GWRI".  Barbara broke Gunther herself and is now showing at 1st level with scores in the mid 60's.  

Anita Rees and her young Sport Horse Cross "Merlin".  Anita made her 1st level debut with a 62% in fall 08 and has consistently been in the mid 60s through 2009!

Rene Hall and NIna - a 4 year old Contucci mare from  Hilltop Farm.  Rene has raised Nina since she was a couple months old and is now reaping the rewards of riding this lovely mare.   They have just moved to Suffolk from RIchmond and we are thrilled to have them boarding at SIlverleaf Farm..  

Corrine Meadows and her Arabian Demetrius moved here in July 08 from Oklahoma where her husband iwas stationed with the Air Force. 

Marylyn Leonard and her  Hannoverian Mare "Fem Sole".   Marylyn and Fem have enjoyed tremendous success in the show ring at Training and 1st levels including several scores over 70%.    

Diane Rombs and "Cody"a a purebred Arabian Gelding.  Diane is one of the hardest working students that I have ever had. 

Danielle and the 4 year old Oldenburg Mare "Starr".  Owned and bred by Don and Yolanda WIlliamston of Terra Ceia Farm, Dani and Starr received several 70's in the only 2 shows that they competed in during 2008.   Starr is by the Terra Ceia stallion "Staccato". 

Toni Meranda and "Straehla" at their first schooling show.  March 09.   Straehla is a 5 year old Holsteiner mare that Toni purchased fthrough Patti Pierucci and that was bred at Far-a-Field Farm.

Robyn Nunnally and her new Dutch Gelding "Mikey" at their first schooling show.   Robyn purchased Mikey through Patti Pieruci in the fall of 2008 and had a great 1st show season in 2009!

Melissa Chamberlain and her 17 year old Appendix QH "Quiet Riot".   Melissa has just started competiing with Riot at 1st level with scores in the low to mid 60s. 

Melissa Chamberlain and her new Irish Sporthorse, "Indy", purchased through Jim Koford.   They have developed a nice partnership over the summer of 2009.

Danielle on Janice Mumford's 4 year old Hannoverian "Dexter S" by Dalphin.    Dexter is a true gentlemen in everything he does with a fabulous uphill canter.  Dani and Dexter have earned many scores over 70% this summer.

Cathy Fletcher and her fabulous TB/Clydsdale mare "Nightie".    They will be competing at their first show this Nov and we expect great things from this pair!

Nichole has shown successfully on the paint circuit in almost every discpline offered on several horses.   She is currently training to compete in dressage on the Paint show circuit with the goal of competing in the World Paint Championships in 2011.
