"Kostolan" was Kathy's first Grand Prix horse. She imported him from Germany at as a 5 year old and found it particularly rewarding to train him all the way up the levels with Jim Koford's invaluable assistance. Kathy earned her USDF Gold medal on him and he was a treasure to ride everyday. Kostas was sold in June 2006 and his new owner, Kaz, has already won her USDF Gold medal. In March 07, Kostas moved to Australia with Kaz.

"Rowena" is Silverleaf Farm's 9 yr old Dutch mare by Flemingh out of a Contango mare. She loves to work and is Kathy's special soulmate! In 2006 Kathy & Rena finished 2nd in the USDF All Breeds for the KWPN at 4th level and 28th in the HOY awards at 4th LL.

Rowena has been on hiatus since a devastating founder episode in Sept 06. She has come back strong and has returned to full work.

Danielle Rowland has ridden at Silverleaf Farm since she was 14 years old. In 2005 she and King D 'Azur were members of the Region 1 North American Young Rider Team. Although only 23 years old, Danielle has trained 3 horses to PSG herself, and has successfully competed at all FEI levels, including Grand Prix. She is our Young Horse Specialist and is already teaching students up to 4th level.

Kingsley has gone on to be 2nd in the USDF HOY award for Adult Amateur PSG in 2006 !
